In short

How do I get an automatic daily sales summary from my hobby shop's Square account?

WebRun opens Square every evening, pulls the day's completed transactions, and breaks revenue into categories such as singles, sealed product, and accessories. It then posts a clean daily digest to Slack with the totals, top items, and a comparison to your weekly average, so you always know how the day went.

  • Daily revenue visible in Slack without opening Square
  • Category breakdown shows which product lines drove the day
  • Top items surfaced so owners spot trends without digging through reports

Questions, answered

Can I customize which categories appear in the digest?

Yes. Tell WebRun which Square categories matter most to your store and it will organize the digest around those groupings, so the summary reflects how you actually think about your product mix.

Does it compare today's sales to a target or previous period?

WebRun includes a comparison to the category's weekly average in the digest by default. You can also give it a monthly target and it will show the daily run rate against that goal.

Is the digest posted publicly or just to a private channel?

WebRun posts to whichever Slack channel you specify during setup. Most stores use a private owners or managers channel so sales data stays with the right people.
