Questions, answered
Will it automatically apply markdowns in Square?
No. WebRun drafts the markdown plan and posts it to Slack for staff review. Price changes in Square are only made after a staff member approves the plan and applies the reductions manually.
What counts as aged inventory?
By default, any product with zero units sold in the past 90 days and stock still on hand is flagged. You can adjust this window to 60 or 120 days depending on how quickly your product categories typically turn.
Can it suggest different markdown depths for different product types?
Yes. Give WebRun a category-specific markdown policy and it will apply different discount tiers for singles, sealed product, accessories, and supplies so the plan fits your store's margin structure.
