In short

How do I automatically track game event signups and alert the organizer?

WebRun logs every game-night RSVP to your Google Sheets roster the moment a player signs up, drafts a confirmation email in Gmail for organizer review, and posts a Slack alert with the current headcount, so the organizer always knows how many seats are filled without checking the sheet manually.

  • Every RSVP logged instantly with no manual data entry
  • Organizer sees headcount in Slack without opening the sheet
  • Confirmation drafts ready for review so no player is left hanging

Questions, answered

Will it send the confirmation email automatically?

No. WebRun drafts the confirmation in Gmail and leaves it for the organizer to review and send. Nothing goes to the player until a human approves it.

What happens when the event is full?

WebRun still logs the RSVP and flags the capacity situation in the Slack alert so the organizer can decide whether to add capacity or notify the player of a waitlist.

Can it handle multiple events at once?

Yes. The roster sheet can have one tab per event, and WebRun logs each signup to the correct tab based on the event date or name submitted in the form.
