Automated Ramp Expense Report Submission Reminders
Every Monday, WebRun opens Ramp, identifies employees who have unsubmitted transactions past your submission deadline, logs the details in Airtable for tracking, and posts a direct-message nudge list to Slack so managers can follow up before the close.
How do I automatically remind employees to submit Ramp expense reports?
WebRun checks Ramp every Monday for employees with unsubmitted transactions past your deadline, logs every open item in Airtable with employee, amount, and age, and posts the sorted list to Slack so managers can follow up. Resolved submissions clear automatically the following week.
- Unsubmitted reports caught weekly, not at month-end close
- Managers get a Slack list sorted by oldest transaction each Monday
- Airtable tracks chronic late submitters over time

Questions, answered
Will it message employees directly to remind them?
No. WebRun posts the unsubmitted-report list to the finance Slack channel for managers to follow up. Direct employee messages are drafted for human review before sending, not auto-dispatched.
How does it know the submission deadline?
You set the deadline age once during setup, for example transactions older than 14 days. WebRun applies that rule on every Monday run.
What happens to employees who submitted since last Monday?
Airtable records for those employees are updated to Resolved, and they drop off the Slack list automatically the next time the workflow runs.
