In short

How do I automatically identify dead stock in Lightspeed Retail?

WebRun checks Lightspeed Retail every Monday for items with no sales in 60 or more days, calculates each item's tied-up inventory value, and writes a ranked markdown-candidate list with suggested discount percentages to Google Sheets. Your team reviews the list and decides which items to discount or return to vendor.

  • Dead-stock items surface weekly before they tie up cash any longer
  • Suggested markdown percentages cut the time needed to plan promotions
  • Ranked by value so the biggest cash-release opportunities come first

Questions, answered

Will it apply the markdowns in Lightspeed automatically?

No. WebRun builds the candidate list and suggested discounts in Google Sheets for your team to review and approve. Price changes in Lightspeed are a manual step you control, so no prices are changed automatically.

Can I change the 60-day threshold?

Yes. Tell WebRun your preferred window, such as 30 days for fast-fashion or 90 days for seasonal goods, and it will use that cutoff every run.

What if an item has been on promotion recently?

WebRun reads actual sales transactions in Lightspeed, so any item that sold during a promotion is counted and will not appear on the dead-stock list for that period.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
