Flag clients whose food journals need your attention
Every morning, WebRun opens Practice Better, scans food journal entries from the past 48 hours for each active client, identifies those who have not logged, have low meal variety, or have flagged items, logs the findings to Google Sheets, and posts a prioritised review list to Slack so you know exactly which clients need attention today.

How do I automatically flag nutrition clients whose food journals need review?
WebRun opens Practice Better every morning, scans food journal entries across all active clients, and flags those who have not logged recently, show low meal variety, or have self-flagged an entry. A prioritised list lands in Slack by 7:30 AM and a running log is kept in Google Sheets so you can monitor journal engagement trends over time.
- Clients with declining journal engagement are spotted before their next session
- Self-flagged entries are never missed or buried in a busy caseload
- Journal engagement trends are tracked over time in Google Sheets
Built for registered dietitians · nutrition coaches · health coaches · private nutrition practices

Questions, answered
Does it send any alerts directly to clients about their journalling?
No. This is a purely internal digest. All flags go to you in Slack and to the Google Sheet log. Any follow-up message to a client is a separate step that you initiate yourself.
What counts as a food journal flag?
By default: no entry in the past 48 hours, fewer than 3 unique food groups in the past 24 hours, or a self-flagged entry where the client has marked it for practitioner review. You can adjust these thresholds during setup.
Does it share identifiable health data in Slack?
No. The Slack message contains only client names and flag reasons (for example, 'no log for 2 days'). It never includes meal content, nutritional values, or clinical data, keeping the channel HIPAA-appropriate.
