In short

How do I automatically track expiring medical staff licenses and DEA registrations?

WebRun checks symplr every Monday for medical staff licenses and DEA registrations expiring within 60 days, logs each one to a Google Sheets tracker ranked by urgency, and drafts a renewal reminder in Outlook for your credentialing specialist to review and send, so no provider is caught practicing on an expired credential.

  • No provider license or DEA registration lapses because expirables are checked every week
  • Credentialing staff open a tracker each Monday with every expiring item ranked by days remaining
  • Renewal reminders are ready to send within minutes instead of drafted from scratch

Questions, answered

Will it email providers about their expiring license automatically?

No. WebRun drafts the reminder in Outlook and leaves it unsent for your credentialing specialist to review, personalize, and send. No message reaches a provider without a human approving it first.

Which expirables does it track?

It tracks the state medical license and DEA registration expiry dates recorded in symplr's expirables module. Any additional credential type your medical staff office tracks can be added to the Google Sheets tracker.

What happens once a provider renews?

It reads live expirable dates from symplr each Monday, so once the renewed license or DEA number is updated in the system, that provider drops off the urgent list automatically the following week.
