In short

How do I automatically track and work claim denials for IDD waiver billing?

WebRun opens Therap every morning, finds all claims denied or returned since the prior day, logs each with the denial reason code and amount to QuickBooks for financial tracking, and posts a prioritized worklist to the billing Slack channel so staff can batch similar appeals and meet payer deadlines.

  • Every denial is logged and visible to billing staff within minutes of the morning run
  • Appeals grouped by reason code so staff can work batches efficiently
  • Urgent deadlines flagged automatically before the 10-day window closes

Built for IDD billing teams · waiver billing managers · group home billing staff · Medicaid billing coordinators

Questions, answered

Will it file an appeal with the payer automatically?

No. WebRun logs denials and alerts your billing team. All appeal submissions are made by staff after reviewing the worklist. Nothing is filed with a payer without human action.

What denial reason codes does it handle?

It captures whatever reason code appears in Therap's billing module for each returned or denied claim, including Medicaid, managed care, and state-funded payer codes, and groups them in the Slack post so staff can batch similar appeals.

What if a denial was already resolved by the billing team that morning?

It reads live claim status from Therap each morning. If a claim was resolved and updated in Therap before the run, it will not appear on the worklist.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
