Automated Equipment Lease Maturity Reminders
Every Monday, WebRun opens Odessa and finds every active lease maturing in the next 60 days, creates or updates a Google Calendar event for each maturity date so the relationship manager is reminded, and sends an SMS via Twilio to the assigned manager for any lease now within 14 days of maturity so nothing slips through at the critical window.
How do I get automatic reminders when equipment leases are approaching maturity?
WebRun scans Odessa every Monday for leases maturing within 60 days. It creates a Google Calendar event for each maturity date and invites the assigned relationship manager. For any lease now within 14 days of maturity, it sends the manager an SMS via Twilio with the contract details so the critical window never passes unnoticed.
- Relationship managers always have maturity dates on their calendar 60 days in advance
- A Twilio SMS at 14 days ensures no critical maturity window passes without action
- No manual scanning of Odessa is needed to find upcoming lease maturities

Questions, answered
Does it send SMS alerts directly to lessees?
No. The Twilio SMS alerts go only to the internal relationship manager's phone number on file. No message is sent to the lessee.
What if a relationship manager is assigned to multiple leases maturing in the same week?
Each contract generates its own SMS so the manager has the full details for every one. The Google Calendar events are also created per contract so nothing is combined or missed.
Will it create a duplicate calendar event if the lease was already added in a prior week's run?
It checks for an existing calendar event for the contract before creating a new one and updates the existing event if any details changed, so no duplicates appear.
