Automated SpotOn Comp and Void Anomaly Alerts
Every morning, WebRun opens SpotOn and reads the previous night's comp and void report, identifies employees or shifts where totals exceed your set threshold, and posts a flagged alert to your manager Slack channel for follow-up.
How do I automatically detect unusual comps and voids from my bar POS?
WebRun reads SpotOn's comp and void report every morning for the prior night, identifies any employee or shift where totals exceed your threshold, and posts a flagged Slack alert to your manager channel. Managers arrive knowing exactly where to look, catching loss patterns before they compound across the week.
- Comp and void anomalies are flagged before morning manager briefing
- Managers arrive with a specific employee and shift to investigate, not a stack of reports
- All-clear nights are confirmed automatically, reducing manual review time

Questions, answered
Will it take any action against the employee flagged?
No. WebRun only posts an internal Slack alert to your management channel. Any follow-up with the employee is entirely at the manager's discretion, based on their review of the SpotOn detail report.
How do I set the threshold that triggers a flag?
You define the dollar threshold during setup. WebRun compares each employee's nightly comp and void total against that number and only flags lines that exceed it.
What if my bar runs promotions that create legitimate high comp nights?
You can raise the threshold on promotion nights or pause the run for those dates. WebRun is designed to match your normal operating baseline, not to flag planned marketing spend.
