Automated LigoLab Courier Pickup Tracking
Each afternoon, WebRun opens LigoLab, identifies ordering clients whose specimens have not been picked up within the expected courier window, and posts a missed-pickup alert to a Slack channel so the lab logistics team can follow up before the end of the collection day.
How do I automatically track and alert on missed courier pickups in LigoLab?
WebRun checks LigoLab each afternoon for ordering clients whose specimens have not been picked up within the scheduled courier window, then posts a ranked Slack alert to the logistics team. Clients with the highest waiting specimen count appear first so the team can prioritize follow-up calls before the collection day ends.
- Missed pickups flagged every afternoon before the collection day ends
- Clients with the most specimens waiting surfaced first for immediate follow-up
- No specimens left uncollected overnight due to a missed check

Questions, answered
Will it contact the client or courier company automatically?
No. The Slack alert is an internal digest for the logistics team only. Any outreach to a client or courier must be made by a human team member after reviewing the alert.
How does it know when a pickup window has passed?
WebRun compares the current time against the scheduled pickup window recorded in LigoLab for each client location. Clients whose window has passed without a confirmed pickup are flagged.
What if a courier checks in late and updates the status during the afternoon?
If the pickup status in LigoLab is updated before the run fires, the client will not appear on the alert. The digest reflects the live LigoLab status at the time it runs.
