PortPro Automated New Customer Onboarding
Every morning, WebRun opens PortPro, finds any new customer records created since the previous run, logs each to the customer onboarding tracker in Google Sheets, and drafts a welcome email in Gmail for your team to review and send, so every new drayage customer gets a fast, professional onboarding start.
How do I automatically kick off new customer onboarding when a customer is added to PortPro?
Every morning, WebRun opens PortPro, finds new customer records created since the previous run, logs each to a Google Sheets onboarding tracker, and drafts a Gmail welcome email per customer for your team to review and send, so every new drayage customer is logged and welcomed the same day they are added.
- Every new customer logged and welcomed the same day they are added to PortPro
- Onboarding tracker stays current without any manual data entry
- Customer success team reviews a ready draft instead of writing from scratch
Built for drayage carriers · port trucking customer success teams · intermodal logistics operators · container trucking sales teams

How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it send the welcome email to the new customer automatically?
No. WebRun creates a Gmail draft and logs the customer to your sheet, but the welcome email is not sent until your customer success team reviews and approves it.
What if the same customer is added to PortPro twice by mistake?
WebRun checks for existing entries in the onboarding tracker before adding a new row. If the customer already appears in the sheet, it flags the duplicate for your team to resolve rather than creating a second entry.
Can it assign the new customer to a specific team member?
WebRun leaves an owner column blank in the tracker for your team to fill in. If you want WebRun to auto-assign based on a rule such as territory or port, tell it your routing logic and it will add the assignment.
