Automated Yarn Order Pickup Texts

Every morning, WebRun opens Rain POS, finds special-order and hold skeins received since yesterday, matches each to the customer who requested it, drafts them a pickup text in Twilio for your approval, and posts your team a Slack list of who to expect at the counter.

In short

How do I notify customers when their special-order yarn arrives?

WebRun checks your Rain POS special orders and holds every morning, finds skeins received since yesterday, and matches each to the customer who requested it. It drafts every customer a pickup text in Twilio for your approval and posts your counter team a Slack list of who to expect, so special-order yarn leaves the hold shelf faster.

  • Customers hear the day their order arrives, not a week later
  • Hold shelves clear faster and free up space
  • Every text waits for your approval before it sends

Built for yarn shops · needlework stores · fiber retailers · counter staff

Questions, answered

Will it text customers without my approval?

No. Every pickup text is queued for your approval in Twilio. You review the batch and release it, so nothing reaches a customer until you approve it.

How does it match an order to the right customer?

It reads the special orders and holds records in Rain POS, which link each received skein to the customer who requested it and their mobile number, so the right person gets the right text.

What about orders already picked up?

It reads the live status in Rain POS each morning, so anything already collected or still on order is skipped and never texted again.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
