Automated Assisted Living Care Level Change Alerts

Every morning, WebRun opens ALIS by Medtelligent, checks recently completed assessments for care-level changes, logs each change in a Google Sheet with the resident name, previous level, new level, and effective date, and posts an internal worklist to Slack so the care and billing teams can act before the next billing cycle.

In short

How do I automatically flag care-level changes from resident assessments in assisted living?

WebRun reviews ALIS by Medtelligent each morning for newly completed assessments, compares the resulting care level to the current billed level, and logs every discrepancy in Google Sheets with resident name, old level, new level, and effective date. It then alerts the care and billing teams in Slack so changes are actioned before the next billing run.

  • Care-level changes are flagged the same morning an assessment is completed
  • Billing and clinical teams share one Google Sheet log with no manual handoffs
  • No care-level discrepancy sits unresolved into the next billing cycle

Questions, answered

Will it update the care level or billing record automatically?

No. WebRun flags and logs the discrepancy. A care coordinator or billing staff member reviews the Sheets log and makes the update in ALIS themselves. This keeps a human in the loop for every clinical and financial change.

How far back does it check for completed assessments?

It checks assessments completed in the previous 24 hours by default, so running each morning ensures no completed assessment is missed between runs.

What if the care level change has already been actioned by staff?

If the billed care level in ALIS already matches the assessed level, no flag is generated. WebRun only surfaces genuine discrepancies where the two values differ.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
