How to Automate MoeGo
MoeGo automates the grooming appointment and the client around it. Smart Scheduling fills gaps, Optimized Mobile Routing plans the van's day, auto messages send reminders, the Abandoned Booking List recovers half-finished bookings and Review Booster asks for feedback. Reconciling payouts and chasing vet records sit outside it, and suit an agent like WebRun.
MoeGo holds the salon calendar and the van route at once
MoeGo is booking, payment and client software built first for pet grooming, and now used across salons, mobile vans, boarding, daycare, training and pet sitting, from a solo groomer up to multi-location groups.
Grooming is an awkward thing to schedule. How long an appointment takes depends on the breed, the coat and how the dog behaved last time. The groomer who did the doodle in March is the one the owner wants again. A van has a route, and two bookings on opposite sides of town cost an hour of driving nobody bills for. The client is a person, but the record everyone works from is a dog, with a temperament note and a vaccination date.
So MoeGo has to be a calendar, a client book, a pet record, a till and a routing engine at the same time. In a salon it is the screen by the door. In a van it is the phone stuck to the dashboard.
The dryer is running and nobody is answering the phone
A groomer's hands are wet for most of the day. That one fact shapes everything around the software.
A booking request comes in at eleven and gets answered at four, by which point the owner has called somewhere else. A client cancels Thursday morning and the slot sits empty, because filling it means texting nine people while holding a spaniel. A dog is booked for next week with a rabies date that ran out in June, and somebody has to notice. The client who came every eight weeks has not been in for fourteen, and no alarm went off.
Then the shift after the last dog goes home. Adding up what the day took across cards, cash and tips. Working out which groomer was busiest. Asking the happy customers to leave a review, one at a time, from a phone, at eight o'clock, which mostly means not asking.
Smart Scheduling and auto messages carry the salon floor
MoeGo has built a lot of this in, and a salon running the default setup has most of it switched off.
MoeGo Smart Scheduling fills gaps and matches staff to pets instead of leaving the calendar to be tidied by hand, and Optimized Mobile Routing plans a van's day so the driving between jobs is the short version. Online Booking takes requests around the clock with Booking Limits keeping capacity sane, and the Abandoned Booking List catches people who started a booking and stopped, with scheduled recovery messages nudging them back. Auto messages, reminders and auto-replies handle confirmations by text, email and phone. MoeGo Pay processes cards and keeps each charge tied to its appointment, with agreements signed by link. Review Booster asks for the feedback, grooming reports go to the owner, and the Automated Workflow builder, in beta, strings these into sequences.
All of it runs on what MoeGo already holds: an appointment, a client, a pet, a payment.
Which is also the edge of it. The vet portal holding the certificate that never arrived is not in MoeGo. Neither is the bank account the card payouts land in, or the listing where owners describe the haircut in public.
Thursday's cancellation can be resold before lunch
An empty slot is worth something for about four hours. After that it is worth nothing at all.
The slot that opened this morning matched against clients who are already overdue, with a message prepared for the three most likely to take it. Clients past their usual interval, listed with their groomer and their last service, so the eight-week dog that quietly became a fourteen-week dog is a name rather than a hole in the takings. Vaccination dates about to run out cross-checked against who has a booking, so the certificate gets chased at the vet instead of found at the door.
The money side too. A day's charges in MoeGo set against what the processor actually deposited. Tips and commission worked out per groomer without anybody rebuilding it in a spreadsheet on Sunday. New reviews read the morning they land and matched back to the appointment and the groomer behind them, which is what turns a two-star review into a coaching conversation rather than a mystery.
Keep owner messages supervised. Somebody is handing over an animal, and an automated note about an unpaid balance or an out-of-date jab reads very differently here than in a hardware shop.
The evening admin belongs to somebody else
Grooming is a trade you learn with your hands. None of the reconciling, chasing or review-asking uses them, and all of it waits until after the last van comes back.
WebRun is an AI agent that works a real Chrome browser, signed in as you. It opens MoeGo, the payment processor, the vet portal or the review page, reads each one, and puts the answer in front of you with anything that disagrees named.
It runs on your schedule in your own private environment, and you can watch a run and stop it. Anything reaching a client is drafted and waits.
The workflows below are already built, and each one names what it opens.
Questions people ask
Does this conflict with the auto messages MoeGo already sends?
No, and leave those running. MoeGo's reminders and recovery messages are the right tool for a booking that exists or one somebody half-finished. This covers the client with no booking at all, and the checks that need a site MoeGo does not open.
Can it fill a cancelled slot without asking me?
It builds the shortlist and drafts each message, and a person sends them. Offering a slot commits your day and somebody else's, so the send stays a decision you make, usually in about ten seconds from your phone.
Some of our vaccination records only ever arrive as an emailed PDF. Is that usable?
Yes. It reads whatever you can read once signed in, so an inbox works as well as a portal. Where a record genuinely has not arrived it says so and names the dog, rather than assuming the jab is current.
