How to Automate Syngency

Syngency already carries the booking, the package, the casting call and the invoice, and its talent app confirms a job without a phone call. What it cannot open is a client's payment portal or a brand's live campaign. An agent like WebRun reads those in a browser and puts the answer on the booking.

An agency sells days that have not happened yet

Syngency is the platform a talent agency runs its board from: modelling and acting agencies, artist and creator management, the businesses whose product is somebody else's day.

The work is a chain of small promises. A client asks for options, an agent builds a package and sends it, a casting call goes out and self-tapes come back, one person is confirmed, rates and usage are agreed, a schedule is set, the job shoots, an invoice goes out, and a payment eventually splits between the talent and the agency.

Syngency holds that chain end to end. Bookings and schedules sit beside talent profiles and galleries, the media library holds the images the agency has rights to, invoicing carries through to the accounting system, and the talent app puts the same schedule in the model's pocket so a confirmation takes a tap instead of three calls.

Confirmations arrive at everybody else's pace

An agency's diary is full of things that are only true if somebody else does something.

So the week goes on chasing. The release nobody signed for a shoot that already ran. The client who saw the package on Friday and still has not said which of the four they want. The production company whose accounts department pays on its own portal, on its own cycle, and never on the date printed on the invoice. The usage term running out this quarter on images still sitting on a brand's homepage.

Then the maintenance nobody schedules. Digitals six months old. A comp card carrying last season's measurements. A work permit expiring the week of a trip. A talent's following, which a client will ask about before they book and nobody has looked at since.

None of that is placing talent. It is administration standing between an agent and the phone.

Payment chased where it actually sits Each unpaid booking checked in the client's own accounts payable portal, so Monday's list is who has not scheduled it rather than who has not replied.
Usage that counts itself down Licence periods tracked from the day a campaign really went live, so an expiring term reaches the agent as a negotiation and not as a surprise.
Paperwork that stops going quiet Releases unsigned, comp cards out of date and permits near expiry, gathered into one morning list with how long each has been waiting.

The booking, the package and the invoice already sit together

Plenty of that chasing is already answered inside the platform, and an agency using Syngency as a diary alone never meets it.

Packages are built by dragging talent into a selection and sent as HD images and video, so a client request is answered in minutes. Casting Calls broadcast an opportunity to the board and take self-tapes and time-slot bookings back. The Talent Portal and the talent app show each person their own bookings, casting calls and bookouts, with a notification when details change and a confirmation in one tap. Syngency Sign keeps contracts and releases in the same record as the booking, and invoicing carries through to Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or NetSuite instead of being retyped.

The limit is that all of it begins with something happening inside Syngency. The system knows an invoice was sent; it cannot open the client's accounts payable portal to see whether it was scheduled. It knows a usage period was agreed; it cannot watch a brand's channels for the day the campaign actually went live. It knows a package went out; it cannot read the casting site where the client is quietly building a shortlist.

A booking sheet that checks the money standing behind it

The interesting part starts when the board can look outside itself.

Every unpaid booking checked in the client's own portal, so Monday's chase list is the accounts that genuinely have not scheduled payment rather than everyone who has not answered an email. Usage watched where it is visible: a campaign appearing on a brand's site or channels, dated, so the licence you agreed starts counting from something real and the renewal is raised before the images come down.

Casting statuses read where the client is working, so an agent learns a model made the shortlist without having to ask. Talent documents checked together for expiry, permits, visas and releases, with anything falling due this month named. Follower counts and recent work gathered before a package goes out, because a client will ask and the answer should not cost an afternoon.

Then the unglamorous one that pays for itself: payouts reconciled against what actually landed in the account, so a model asking when they are getting paid gets a real answer the same day.

Anything that reaches a person still waits for one. A model, a parent, a booker: those are relationships, and an agent sends the message.

Agents are better used on the phone than in a portal

All of those answers are sitting on screens the agency already has logins for, which is the frustrating part.

WebRun is an AI agent that works a real Chrome browser, signed in as you. It opens the client's payment portal, the brand's campaign page or the casting site, reads what is there, and either writes the answer against the booking in Syngency or hands your team the morning list.

Nothing has to be integrated first, which matters in a trade where every client pays through a different system. It runs on your schedule in your own private environment, you can watch a run and stop it, and anything addressed to talent or a client is drafted and left for you.

The workflows below are already built, and each names the sites it opens.

Questions people ask

Will it message talent or clients on its own?

No. Anything reaching a model, a parent or a booker is drafted and left for an agent to send. The gathering runs unattended overnight, and the conversation stays with the person whose relationship it is.

Our clients all pay through different portals. Can it handle that?

Yes, and it is usually the reason to run it. Each portal is opened in a browser signed in with your own account, the invoice status is read off the screen, and the result is put against the booking, so no integration has to exist first.

Is talent data safe with an agent signed into our account?

It runs in your own private environment under a policy naming which sites it may open and what it may type. Most talent workflows are read-only, and any template that writes says which fields it touches before you turn it on.
