Lymphedema is not cured. It is managed, and management is measurement. A scan of an arm or a leg produces a volume and a set of circumferences, and the software matches segments and landmarks the same way on every later scan, so today's numbers line up against the baseline rather than against a tape measure held differently by a different therapist.
The same measurements do a second job. Compression garments are made to a set of numbers, traditionally taken by hand with a tape. LymphaTech takes them from the scan and passes them into the garment order instead. Physical and occupational therapy departments, oncology rehab, hospitals, and the manufacturers and fitters who make the garments all use it.

Taking the numbers is a fraction of the visit. Everything the numbers set in motion takes weeks, and none of that is in the scanner.
A garment has to be paid for, which means checking whether the patient's plan covers compression at all and, often, getting a prior authorisation out of a payer's portal. Then it has to be made, which means an order placed with a manufacturer and a wait, tracked through confirmation emails landing in a shared inbox. Then it has to fit.
Around that sits the follow-up. A garment has a working life of a few months before it stops providing the compression it was sold as, and somebody is meant to notice. A patient who came weekly for manual lymph drainage stops coming and nobody spots the gap. A limb stable for a year quietly is not, and the scan that would show it is booked for a date nobody has set.
So the therapist's admin time goes on portals, an inbox and a spreadsheet, in a clinic where the treatment is hands-on and the diary is full.

Garment prior authorisations tracked on the payer's own portal against the order they belong to, so a garment is ordered against an approval that exists. Coverage checked for new patients before the first fitting rather than after it. Vendor shipping confirmations matched to the order, so a patient is not called in to be fitted for a garment that has not left the factory.
Patients whose garments are near the end of their useful life, listed with a reorder note already drafted. Poor-fit garments turned into a corrected remake order built from the latest scan. Patients due a repeat scan found. Patients who quietly stopped coming for drainage surfaced while a warm message is still all it takes.

Will it place a garment order with the manufacturer?
It prepares one. The order is built from the latest scan and the patient's details, then left for a fitter or therapist to check and submit, because a garment ordered against the wrong measurements is a remake and a long delay for the patient.
