Automated MyFitnessPal Weekly Client Summary

Every Monday, WebRun opens MyFitnessPal, reads each client's last seven days of food diary, calories, macros, weight entries and exercise log, writes a one-page summary per client, files it in the client folder in Google Drive, and sends you a WhatsApp list of who is ready for their check-in.

In short

How do I summarise a client's weekly food and exercise logs automatically?

WebRun reads each client's MyFitnessPal week every Monday, condensing seven days of food diary, calories, macros, weight entries and exercise into a one-page summary filed in their Google Drive folder. It then sends you a WhatsApp check-in list, so every session starts with the pattern already in front of you.

  • Every check-in opens with the week already summarised
  • Weight change, macros and missed days are on one page per client
  • Coaching records build up week over week in Drive without manual filing

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.myfitnesspal.com/account/login in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
MyFitnessPal - read each client's week
    myfitnesspal.com
WebRun in MyFitnessPal: read each client's week
WebRun opens MyFitnessPal to read each client's week.
    • Open MyFitnessPal and go to each client on your coaching list
    • Read the last seven days of food diary entries and pull daily calories and macros
    • Capture every weight entry logged in the week and the change across it
    • Read the exercise log and note the sessions completed
    • Note any days with no entry so the summary is honest about gaps

Done when Every client's seven days of diary, macros, weight and exercise are captured.

  3. 2
Google Drive - file the weekly summary
    drive.google.com
WebRun in Google Drive: file the weekly summary
WebRun opens Google Drive to file the weekly summary.
    • Write a one-page summary per client: average calories, macro split, weight change, sessions logged and days missed
    • Call out the pattern worth discussing, such as protein short on training days or weekends off plan
    • Save each summary into that client's folder in Google Drive, dated by week
    • Keep prior weeks in place so the folder reads as a coaching record over time

Done when Every logging client has this week's summary filed in their Drive folder.

  4. 3
WhatsApp - send the check-in list
    whatsapp.com
WebRun in WhatsApp: send the check-in list
WebRun opens WhatsApp to send the check-in list.
    • Send yourself a short list of clients with a summary filed this week
    • Put the headline number beside each name: weight change and days logged
    • Flag anyone whose week has too few entries to summarise fairly

Done when You have this week's check-in list on WhatsApp with a link to each summary.

Questions, answered

Will it message my clients?

No. The WhatsApp message goes to you only, as an internal check-in list. WebRun never messages a client and never comments on their diary. Anything client-facing stays for you to send yourself.

What happens with a client who barely logged?

They are flagged rather than summarised. WebRun counts the days with no entry and marks the week as too thin to summarise fairly, so you are not handed an average built on two days.

Does it change anything in MyFitnessPal?

No. WebRun only reads the diary, weight entries and exercise log. Every summary is written into Google Drive, so the client's own record stays exactly as they left it.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
