Automated Clearbit Account Data Refresh
Every Monday, WebRun reads your Notion account database, looks each company up in Clearbit, fills gaps such as employee count, industry, location and technology signals, writes the refreshed values back onto the Notion pages, and sends your sales team a WhatsApp summary of what moved and what could not be matched.
How do I keep my CRM account data enriched and up to date?
Every Monday WebRun takes your Notion account list, looks each company up in Clearbit, and fills the gaps: employee count, industry, location and technology signals. It writes the fresh values back into Notion and sends your team a WhatsApp summary of what changed and what could not be matched.
- Account records stay current instead of decaying quietly
- Accounts that crossed a headcount band get flagged to sales
- Unmatched domains surface for review rather than sitting empty
Built for B2B sales teams · revenue operations · demand generation · agencies
What does WebRun do on every run?
The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.
-
WebRun signs in and gets to work
Opens
clearbit.comin a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys. -
1
Clearbit - look up each company
WebRun opens Clearbit to look up each company. - Open Clearbit and look up each account by its company domain
- Capture the firmographic fields you track: employee count, industry, location and technology signals
- Note where the record has changed since the value stored in Notion
- Mark any domain that returns no match so it can be reviewed by hand
Done when Every account on the list has either a fresh Clearbit record or a no-match flag.
-
2
Notion - write back the fresh data
WebRun opens Notion to write back the fresh data. - Open your Accounts database in Notion
- Update the firmographic properties on each page with the refreshed values
- Never overwrite a field a human has edited manually, log the difference instead
- Tick a Last enriched date property so stale rows are obvious next week
- Tag unmatched domains Needs review
Done when Every Notion account page carries current data and a Last enriched date.
-
3
WhatsApp - summarise what changed
WebRun opens WhatsApp to summarise what changed. - Send your internal sales group a short summary: accounts refreshed, fields filled, records unmatched
- Call out accounts that crossed a headcount band, since those often change buying power
- List the Needs review domains so someone can fix them by hand
- Post to your own team group only. Never message a prospect or customer
Done when The sales group has this week's enrichment summary.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it overwrite notes my reps typed by hand?
No. Fields a human edited are left alone and the new value is logged as a difference instead, so a rep's own research is never lost to an enrichment run.
Does it message any of the companies on the list?
No. The only WhatsApp message goes to your internal sales group. WebRun never contacts a prospect, a lead or a customer.
What happens to domains Clearbit cannot match?
They are tagged Needs review in Notion and listed in the WhatsApp summary, so a person can correct the domain rather than leaving a silently empty record.
