A new pharmacy account needs its state license and federal registration verified before a controlled line ships, and those sit on board of pharmacy and agency lookup sites, one account at a time. A recall is published by the manufacturer and the regulator, and somebody has to work out which of your lots and which of your customers are in it, quickly.

Then the quieter ones. Temperature readings sitting on the monitoring vendor's own portal. A short-dated lot that needs moving before it becomes a write-off. A chargeback disputed with a manufacturer through their contract portal. A customer asking whether the substitution you shipped is the one their formulary allows.

The serialization and regulatory compliance modules manage serialized product and the reporting regimes it falls under. Cold Chain Technology tracks temperature-sensitive goods at item level through barcodes, RFID tags and IoT devices, records how long a product spent out of range, keeps a record of who handled it last, and raises immediate alerts. DIAMIND Sentry, the group's error handling and transaction monitoring product, runs inbound and outbound EPCIS files through prechecks for format and master data, returns a single validation report, blocks or flags files by severity, and drives resolution through automated notifications and ticketing, with dashboards over data flows and exception status.

All of that is genuine automation, and all of it operates on data a partner sent you. A board of pharmacy license lookup, a manufacturer's contract portal, a regulator's recall listing and a courier's tracking page are not trading partners and send you nothing at all. Somebody opens them.
