Automated Lightroom Delivery Reminders

Every morning, WebRun opens Adobe Lightroom, checks each client album for how many photos are still unedited or unshared, matches every album to its delivery date in Google Calendar, ranks the backlog by how close the deadline is, and drafts a WhatsApp progress note per client that stays unsent until you approve it.

In short

How do I keep track of client photo galleries that are due?

WebRun checks Adobe Lightroom every morning, lists albums still unedited or unshared, and compares each against the delivery date on your Google Calendar. It ranks your backlog by urgency and drafts a WhatsApp update for each client, held unsent until you approve it.

  • Galleries are delivered on the date you promised
  • The tightest deadline is always the first job of the day
  • Clients get a progress note before they have to chase you

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens lightroom.adobe.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Adobe Lightroom - check album editing progress
    lightroom.adobe.com
WebRun in Adobe Lightroom: check album editing progress
WebRun opens Adobe Lightroom to check album editing progress.
    • Open Adobe Lightroom and go through the albums on your active client list
    • For each album, count total photos, edited photos and picks still awaiting a first pass
    • Note whether the album has been shared with the client yet
    • Skip albums already delivered and archived

Done when Every active client album has an edited count and a shared status.

  3. 2
Google Calendar - match shoots to delivery dates
    calendar.google.com
WebRun in Google Calendar: match shoots to delivery dates
WebRun opens Google Calendar to match shoots to delivery dates.
    • Open Google Calendar and find the shoot and delivery entries for each album
    • Work out how many days are left until each promised delivery date
    • Add an editing block for any album whose remaining work will not fit before the deadline
    • Rank the whole backlog by days remaining, tightest first

Done when Every album has a days remaining figure and tight ones have editing time blocked.

  4. 3
WhatsApp - draft the client update
    whatsapp.com
WebRun in WhatsApp: draft the client update
WebRun opens WhatsApp to draft the client update.
    • Draft a short, warm progress note for clients whose gallery is close to its promised date
    • Say where the edit is up to and when the gallery will land
    • Leave every client message as an unsent draft for you to read and send
    • Post the ranked backlog itself to your own studio group so the team sees today's order of work

Done when Client updates are drafted and waiting for your approval, and the team has today's backlog.

Questions, answered

Will it message my clients on its own?

No. Every client message is drafted and left unsent for you to approve. The only thing posted automatically is the backlog list to your own internal studio group.

Does it edit or delete my photos?

No. WebRun reads album counts and sharing status in Lightroom. It never applies an edit, changes a develop setting, deletes a photo or shares an album.

How does it know when a gallery is due?

It reads the shoot and delivery entries on your Google Calendar, so the backlog is ranked by the date you actually promised each client rather than by when the album was created.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
