Automated Xactly Commission Anomaly Alerts

Every morning, WebRun opens Xactly, compares each rep's calculated commission against their prior period and against plan thresholds like caps and accelerators, alerts the comp team in Slack for any calculation that looks like an outlier, and pings Telegram directly for cases that need urgent review before payroll runs, without ever changing a number itself.

In short

How do I catch commission calculation anomalies in Xactly?

Every morning, WebRun opens Xactly and compares each rep's calculated commission against their prior period and plan thresholds like caps and accelerators. It alerts the comp team in Slack for any outlier and pings Telegram directly for cases close to a payroll deadline, so a calculation worth a second look gets one, without WebRun ever changing a number itself.

  • Commission outliers get flagged before payroll runs, not after
  • No payout figure is ever changed automatically
  • Urgent cases reach the comp manager directly, not buried in a channel

Questions, answered

Does WebRun change or approve a commission amount?

No. WebRun only reads calculated commissions and flags outliers for review. Every commission figure and approval decision stays in Xactly, made by your comp team.

What counts as an outlier?

A calculation that differs sharply from the same rep's prior period, or that crosses a plan threshold like a cap or accelerator, based on your own plan rules already set up in Xactly.

Why does only some cases go to Telegram?

Only calculations close to a payroll deadline get the urgent Telegram ping. Everything else is still visible in the Slack list with time for a normal review.

Put this on autopilot.
