Automated Unsplash Photo Shortlisting
Every Monday, WebRun opens Unsplash, searches the topics and keywords you saved, shortlists photos published since the last run that match your orientation and style notes, logs each pick in Airtable with its photographer name and page link for attribution, and posts the shortlist to your Telegram channel.
How do I find fresh stock photos for my content every week?
WebRun builds your photo shortlist every Monday. It searches your saved topics on Unsplash, picks images published since the last run that match your orientation and style notes, records each in Airtable with the photographer credit and link, and posts the grouped shortlist to Telegram.
- A credited photo shortlist waiting every Monday morning
- Photographer attribution is captured before the image gets used
- No repeats: images picked in earlier weeks are skipped
Built for social media managers · content marketers · designers · bloggers · small agencies
What does WebRun do on every run?
The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

WebRun signs in and gets to work
Opens

1
Unsplash - shortlist fresh photos
WebRun opens Unsplash to shortlist fresh photos. - Open Unsplash and run each saved search term in turn
- Filter to the orientation and colour you use and to photos published since the last run
- Shortlist the images that match your style notes, up to the count you set per topic
- Capture the photo page link, the photographer name and profile link for each pick
Done when Each saved topic has a shortlist of new photos with links and photographer names.
-
2
Airtable - record picks with credits
WebRun opens Airtable to record picks with credits. - Open your image library base in Airtable
- Add a row per shortlisted photo with the topic, photo link, photographer name and profile link
- Set the status field to Shortlisted so nothing is treated as approved yet
- Skip photos already in the base so the same image is never shortlisted twice
Done when Every shortlisted photo has one Airtable row carrying its credit details.
-
3
Telegram - send you the shortlist
WebRun opens Telegram to send you the shortlist. - Open your content channel in Telegram
- Post the shortlist grouped by topic with the photo link and photographer credit on each line
- Note which topics returned nothing new this week
- Leave the choosing and the publishing to a person. WebRun never posts an image anywhere public
Done when This week's shortlist is in your Telegram channel, grouped by topic.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Does it download or publish the photos?
No. WebRun collects links and credits only. It never downloads a file, never uploads an image and never posts anything publicly. You open the link and download the photo yourself when you pick one.
How do I keep the photographer credit?
Every Airtable row carries the photographer name and profile link alongside the photo page link, so the attribution travels with the image from shortlist to published post.
Will it show me the same photo twice?
No. WebRun checks the Airtable base before adding a pick, so a photo shortlisted in an earlier week is skipped and each digest is genuinely new.
