Automated TrainingPeaks Compliance Tracking

Every Monday, WebRun opens TrainingPeaks, compares each athlete's planned workouts to what was actually logged the prior week, posts a compliance summary to Microsoft Teams, and creates a Trello card for every athlete who missed a session and needs a coach check in.

In short

How do I track which athletes missed their TrainingPeaks workouts?

WebRun compares each athlete's planned and completed TrainingPeaks workouts every Monday, posts a compliance summary to Microsoft Teams, and creates a Trello card for anyone who missed a session. It never contacts an athlete directly, so a coach starts the week with a ready made check in list instead of scanning every training log by hand.

  • Missed sessions are caught every Monday instead of at the next check in
  • Coaches start the week with a ready made follow up list
  • No athlete is contacted automatically, every check in stays personal

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens home.trainingpeaks.com/login in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
    TrainingPeaks - check workout compliance
    • Open TrainingPeaks and review each athlete's planned versus completed workouts
    • Note any workout marked missed or left unlogged for the prior week
    • Record the athlete name and how many sessions were missed

Done when Every athlete's compliance for the prior week has been checked.

  3. 2
Microsoft Teams - post the weekly summary
    microsoft.com
WebRun in Microsoft Teams: post the weekly summary
WebRun opens Microsoft Teams to post the weekly summary.
    • Post a weekly summary to the coaching team channel
    • List each athlete with their completed versus missed session count
    • Sort so the athletes with the most missed sessions appear first

Done when The weekly compliance summary has been posted to Teams.

  4. 3
Trello - create a follow up card
    trello.com
WebRun in Trello: create a follow up card
WebRun opens Trello to create a follow up card.
    • Create a card in the athlete check ins board for anyone who missed a session
    • Name the card with the athlete and missed session count
    • Leave the card for the coach to reach out. WebRun never messages the athlete directly

Done when Every athlete needing a check in has an open Trello card.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Does WebRun message athletes about their missed workouts?

No. It only creates a Trello card for the coach to follow up on. It never emails or messages an athlete on its own.

Does it change or reassign the training plan?

No. It only reads planned versus completed workouts. Adjusting a plan is always a coaching decision made by you.

What if an athlete logs a workout late?

It rereads TrainingPeaks each Monday, so a session logged after the fact is picked up the next run.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
