Automated Spreaker Episode Distribution Check
Every morning, WebRun opens Spreaker, lists the episodes published since the last run, checks the show's RSS feed and each distribution platform for them, moves a card per episode in Trello, and sends you a WhatsApp message naming anything that has not landed.
How do I check that a new podcast episode reached every podcast app?
WebRun opens Spreaker each morning, lists the episodes published since the last run, and checks the show's RSS feed and each distribution platform for them. It tracks the result on a Trello card per episode and messages you on WhatsApp when an episode is live in Spreaker but missing from a podcast app.
- A missing episode is caught within a day, not by a listener
- Every episode has a written record of where it landed
- Distribution gaps are tied to a named platform and publish time
Built for podcast producers · show hosts · audio networks · media teams

How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it republish or resubmit an episode?
No. WebRun only checks and reports. Republishing an episode or resubmitting a feed stays your call, because a resubmission can duplicate an episode in a listener's app.
How long does it wait before flagging a platform?
As long as you tell it. Directories can take hours to pick up a new item, so set a grace period, often six or twelve hours, and WebRun only flags episodes past it.
Can it check more than one show?
Yes. List the shows and the platforms each one is meant to reach, and WebRun checks every show each morning and keeps a separate Trello card per episode.
