Automated Envato Elements Asset Shortlists

Every Monday, WebRun reads next week's creative briefs in Notion, searches Envato Elements for templates, fonts, and footage that fit each one, saves the candidates into a collection per brief, and logs every shortlisted item in Airtable with its category and licence type.

In short

How do I shortlist stock assets for upcoming design briefs?

WebRun sources creative assets every Monday. It reads next week's briefs in Notion, searches Envato Elements for templates, fonts, and footage that fit each one, saves the candidates into a collection per brief, and logs every item in Airtable so designers start by choosing.

  • Designers open a stocked collection instead of an empty search
  • Every candidate is logged with its category and licence type
  • Briefs already sourced are skipped, so nothing is duplicated

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens elements.envato.com/sign-in in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Notion - read next week's briefs
    notion.so
WebRun in Notion: read next week's briefs
WebRun opens Notion to read next week's briefs.
    • Open your creative briefs database in Notion and read the briefs due next week
    • Pull out the format, style notes, and the asset types each brief needs
    • Skip briefs already marked as sourced so the same work is not repeated

Done when Every brief due next week has its asset requirements written out.

  3. 2
Envato Elements - shortlist matching assets
    elements.envato.com
WebRun in Envato Elements: shortlist matching assets
WebRun opens Envato Elements to shortlist matching assets.
    • Sign in to Envato Elements and search for the templates, fonts, and footage each brief calls for
    • Save a handful of candidates per brief into a collection named after that brief
    • Note each item's category and its licence terms
    • Save candidates only. WebRun never downloads an asset or licenses one on your behalf

Done when Each brief has a collection stocked with candidate assets.

  4. 3
    Airtable - log every candidate
    airtable.com
WebRun in Airtable: log every candidate
WebRun opens Airtable to log every candidate.
    • Log every shortlisted item in Airtable against its brief, with the item name, category, and licence type
    • Link each row back to the collection so a designer can jump straight there
    • Mark the brief as sourced once its collection has candidates

Done when Airtable holds every candidate asset linked to the brief it was sourced for.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it download or license assets automatically?

No. WebRun only saves candidates into a collection and logs them in Airtable. Downloading an item, which registers the licence, is always done by a designer.

How does it know what each brief needs?

It reads the format, style notes, and asset types written on the brief in Notion, then searches Envato Elements for items matching that description.

What if a brief already has assets picked?

Briefs marked as sourced are skipped, so a Monday run never duplicates work the team has already done or reopens a settled choice.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
