Automated Discourse Flagged Topic Logging

Every morning, WebRun opens Discourse, finds topics and posts flagged by members overnight, checks Gmail for any existing support email thread on the same account, and logs each flagged item with that context to a Google Sheet for the moderation team to triage.

In short

How do I keep flagged Discourse topics from being missed by moderators?

WebRun checks Discourse every morning for topics and posts flagged by members overnight, checks Gmail read-only for any related support email thread, and logs each flagged item with that context to a Google Sheet. Moderators start the day with a sorted queue instead of scrolling the flags panel, and every actual moderation decision stays in human hands.

  • Moderators start each day with a sorted, complete flag queue
  • Flags tied to an open support issue are surfaced with that context
  • No overnight flag goes unnoticed between moderator shifts

    • This is a read-only check. No email is sent or drafted

Done when Each flagged item shows whether a related support thread already exists.

  4. 3
Google Sheets - log the moderation queue
    google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: log the moderation queue

Done when The moderation queue sheet has every overnight flag logged and sorted.

Questions, answered

Does WebRun hide posts or reply on the forum?

No. It only reads flags and logs them to a sheet for your moderators. Every moderation action, like hiding a post or replying, is still taken by a person.

Does it send or read the poster's private email?

It only checks Gmail read-only for an existing support thread tied to the same address, to give moderators context. No email is sent, opened content stays internal.

How are the most urgent flags surfaced first?

Each row in the sheet is sorted by how many flags a post received, so moderators see the most-flagged items at the top every morning.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
