Automated Clipchamp Content Plan Checks

Every Monday, WebRun opens Clipchamp, lists the projects and folders in your workspace, matches them against the planned videos in your Notion content calendar, marks anything with no project started or no export yet, updates the Notion plan with the real status, and texts the content lead the gaps through Twilio.

In short

How do I check which planned videos have not been started yet?

WebRun checks your video plan against reality every Monday. It lists the projects in your Clipchamp workspace, matches them to the planned videos in your Notion content calendar, marks anything not started or idle, and texts the content lead the gaps in time to reassign or move the date.

  • Unstarted videos surface on Monday, not on publish day
  • The content plan shows real status instead of intentions
  • One short text replaces chasing editors for updates

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens app.clipchamp.com/login in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Clipchamp - list projects and their status
    clipchamp.com
WebRun in Clipchamp: list projects and their status
WebRun opens Clipchamp to list projects and their status.
    • Open Clipchamp and list the projects in your workspace with their folders
    • Note each project name and when it was last edited
    • Note which projects already have an export
    • Do not create, rename or delete a project. WebRun only reads the workspace

Done when Every project in the workspace is listed with its name, folder and edit date.

  3. 2
Notion - mark the plan against reality
    notion.so
WebRun in Notion: mark the plan against reality
WebRun opens Notion to mark the plan against reality.
    • Open the content calendar in Notion and read this month's planned videos
    • Match each planned title to a Clipchamp project by name or folder
    • Mark planned videos with no project at all as Not started
    • Mark projects started but with no export as In progress, with the days since last edit
    • Sort the nearest publish dates to the top so the urgent gaps read first

Done when Every planned video carries a real status against the workspace.

  4. 3
Twilio - text the content lead the gaps
    twilio.com
WebRun in Twilio: text the content lead the gaps
WebRun opens Twilio to text the content lead the gaps.
    • Text the content lead the videos with no project started
    • Lead with the ones whose publish date is soonest
    • Keep it to a short count and the two or three most urgent titles
    • Send nothing when every planned video has a project underway

Done when The content lead knows which planned videos have not been started.

Questions, answered

Does it create the missing projects?

No. WebRun only reports which planned videos have no project. Creating a project, assigning an editor, or moving a publish date is a human decision in Clipchamp and Notion.

How does it match a plan row to a project?

It matches on project name and folder against the planned title, so keeping the same naming in Clipchamp and Notion makes the check exact. Unmatched rows are listed rather than guessed.

Does it message the whole team?

No. The status update lives in your Notion plan and one short text goes to the content lead. Nobody else is contacted, and no client or viewer is messaged.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
