No. The only message goes to the teacher on WhatsApp. WebRun never contacts a student or a parent, so every conversation about missing work is started by the teacher.
Does it check that everyone was assigned the work?
Yes. A student missing from the assignment altogether is flagged separately from one who simply has not started, because that is a setup problem rather than a chase.
Can it change or extend an assignment?
No. WebRun reads assignment and progress data and reports it. Creating work, moving a due date, or grading stays entirely with the teacher.
