Automated Captivate Episode Publish Checks
Every Monday, WebRun opens Captivate, lists the episodes scheduled to publish in the coming week, checks each one for missing show notes, artwork, a title, or an audio file, opens a Trello card for every gap it finds, and messages you a WhatsApp list of what still needs doing before those episodes go out.
How do I check scheduled podcast episodes are complete before they publish?
WebRun opens Captivate every Monday and checks the episodes scheduled to publish in the coming week for missing show notes, artwork, titles, or audio. It opens a dated Trello card for each gap and messages the list to WhatsApp, so nothing publishes with empty show notes.
- Gaps are found days before publish, not after
- Every fix has a card due before its episode goes out
- No episode reaches the feed with empty show notes
Built for podcast producers · podcast hosts · content teams · audio agencies

How is each run configured?
Secure by default

WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it publish or reschedule an episode?
No. WebRun only reads what is scheduled and reports the gaps. Publishing, rescheduling, and editing an episode all stay manual, so nothing goes out to your feed without you deciding it should.
Can it write the missing show notes?
No. It tells you which episodes have empty show notes and when they publish. The words stay yours, so nothing generic ends up on your feed under your name.
What counts as complete?
You set the checklist. By default WebRun checks the title, show notes, episode artwork, and audio file, and flags anything blank on an episode scheduled within the next seven days.
