Automated Brightcove Video Performance Reports
Every Monday, WebRun opens Brightcove, reads the last seven days of playback and engagement for every published video, appends one row per video to your Google Sheet, ranks the best and worst performers against your library average, and sends the top few and the misses to your team on WhatsApp.
How do I get a weekly report of my Brightcove video performance?
WebRun reads last week's playback and engagement for every Brightcove video each Monday. It appends one row per video to your Google Sheet, ranks each against your library average, and sends your team a WhatsApp message naming the three strongest videos and the new releases that underperformed.
- Every video's week is logged without anyone exporting a report
- Underperforming new releases are named while there is still time to promote them
- Week over week history accumulates in one sheet

Questions, answered
Will it publish, unpublish, or edit any videos?
No. WebRun reads analytics in Brightcove only. It never uploads, publishes, retitles, unpublishes, or deletes a video, and it never changes a player or playlist.
Does it overwrite last week's numbers in the sheet?
No. Each run appends new rows for the week just finished and leaves earlier weeks untouched, so the sheet becomes a history you can chart.
What if a video was published mid-week?
It is included and flagged as new, with a note that it only collected part of a week, so a partial week is never mistaken for weak performance.
