Automated Battle.net Purchase Spend Tracking

Every Monday, WebRun signs in to Battle.net, reads the order history for last week's purchases, balance top ups, and licence renewals, writes each charge into an Airtable spend log, and files a Trello card with the week's total for whoever holds the card.

In short

How do I track everything my team spends on Battle.net?

WebRun opens Battle.net every Monday, reads the order history for last week's purchases and balance top ups, and writes each charge into an Airtable spend log with its date and amount. It then files a Trello card with the week's total, so every game charge is reconciled without hunting email receipts.

  • Every Battle.net charge lands in one sheet with a date and amount
  • Card reconciliation stops depending on email receipts
  • Unusually large weeks are flagged while the charge is still recent

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens battle.net in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
    Battle.net - read last week's charges
    battle.net
WebRun in Battle.net: read last week's charges
WebRun opens Battle.net to read last week's charges.
    • Sign in to the Battle.net account and open the order history
    • Capture every purchase dated in the last seven days with its date, item, and amount
    • Note any Battle.net Balance top ups separately from game and licence purchases
    • Read the current Balance so the log shows what is left to spend

Done when Last week's purchases, top ups, and the current balance are all captured.

  3. 2
    Airtable - log every purchase
    airtable.com
WebRun in Airtable: log every purchase
WebRun opens Airtable to log every purchase.
    • Open the spend log base in Airtable
    • Add one row per charge with the date, item, amount, and account it was bought on
    • Tag each row as a game, a licence, or a balance top up so the totals split cleanly
    • Skip any order already logged in an earlier week

Done when Every new Battle.net charge has a dated row in the Airtable spend log.

  4. 3
Trello - file the weekly total
    trello.com
WebRun in Trello: file the weekly total
WebRun opens Trello to file the weekly total.
    • Add a card to the finance board titled with the week ending date
    • List the week's total, the split by type, and the remaining Battle.net Balance
    • Call out any charge that is larger than the usual weekly pattern

Done when The week's Battle.net spend is on the board for whoever reconciles the card.

Questions, answered

Can it buy anything or change my account?

No. WebRun only reads the order history and balance in Battle.net. It never adds funds, buys a game, or changes a setting, and the only things it writes are your own Airtable log and Trello card.

Does it cover more than one Battle.net account?

Yes. Connect each account you pay for and WebRun reads them in the same run, tagging every row with the account it came from so the team total is still one sheet.

What if a purchase was refunded?

Refunds show up in the order history as their own line, so the next Monday run logs the credit against the same item and the running total corrects itself.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
