BeyondTrucks is a cloud transportation management system built for fleets hauling things that will not sit on a pallet: oil and gas, chemicals and industrial products, construction materials, food and agriculture, with bulk and tank operations alongside dry van, reefer, flatbed and heavy haul.

That distinction shapes the whole system. A dry van carrier moves a sealed box between two docks. A tank carrier moves a product, in compartments, into and out of equipment that has to be compatible with it, under rules written by whoever owns the product and whoever owns the ground it is poured onto.

So a load here is never just a pickup and a delivery. It is a product code, a compartment plan, a trailer with a wash history, a driver with the right endorsements, and a site that will accept all of that only between certain hours.

The wash rack decides what the trailer can carry next

A bulk dispatcher's real constraint is rarely the truck.

It is whether the terminal will release product tomorrow, which the supplier posts on its own carrier site and revises with allocation. It is whether the consignee's plant is receiving on Friday, which lives in that plant's scheduling system. It is whether the trailer that carried the last product can carry the next one, which turns on a wash ticket issued by an outside rack and emailed to somebody.

It is whether a driver's hazmat endorsement, medical card or port credential is still current, and each renews on a different government site to its own timetable. Behind all of it, shippers in these industries rate their carriers in contractor compliance databases, where a score that slips turns a booked load into a truck sent home from the gate.

Rate agents and compatibility checks catch what a dispatcher would miss

BeyondTrucks automates a great deal of what bulk dispatch used to do by hand, and this is not a thin product.

AI-powered order ingestion reads orders out of emails, documents and spreadsheets and turns them into dispatch-ready loads, with rate agents applying customer-specific pricing as they arrive, so nobody keys an order or a rate. Native or third-party EDI covers the shippers who work that way, and predictive order generation and bulk order creation cover the ones who do not. Dispatch planning handles multi-compartment work and backhauls on a digital planning board, with route optimisation behind it, and driver, equipment and site compatibility checks run against the plan. Tank inventory monitoring, trailer wash management and permit management are all in the product, invoicing and driver settlements come off loads already dispatched, and there is a customer portal and a driver mobile app.

Every one of those acts on loads, trucks and drivers the system already holds.

The terminal's allocation for tomorrow is not one of them. Neither is the plant's delivery calendar, the state's licence record, the customer's accounts payable portal, or the compliance database a shipper checks before it lets a truck load.

When the sites everyone else runs get opened before the plan is set, the plan is built on what is actually available.

Gallons hauled totalled per customer and written up for the ones who expect a weekly number.

Reading and comparing run unattended. Anything that commits a truck, quotes a rate or goes to a customer is drafted and waits for a dispatcher.

A dispatcher earns the day on the exceptions

Opening seven websites before the drivers start calling is not dispatching. It is also the first thing dropped on a busy morning, which tends to be the morning a truck gets turned around at a gate.
