In short

How do I keep track of unresolved review comments on my design files?

Every morning WebRun opens Illustrator on the web, checks your cloud documents and share for review links, and collects every unresolved reviewer comment with its artboard, author and age. It logs them in Google Sheets, opens a Trello card per document, and drafts replies for you to approve.

  • No round of feedback is missed because a comment sat unseen
  • Every open comment carries an age so overdue ones stand out
  • Replies are ready to approve rather than written from scratch

Built for graphic designers · creative studios · in-house design teams · art directors

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens illustrator.adobe.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Adobe Illustrator - collect open comments
    illustrator.adobe.com
WebRun in Adobe Illustrator: collect open comments
WebRun opens Adobe Illustrator to collect open comments.
    • Open Illustrator on the web and go through your cloud documents and their share for review links
    • Collect every comment that is still unresolved, with the artboard it sits on and the version it was left against
    • Note who left each one and how many days it has been waiting
    • Draft a short reply to each comment but leave every one unposted for your approval

Done when Every unresolved comment across your shared documents is captured with its artboard and age.

  3. 2
Google Sheets - log every comment
    google.com
WebRun in Google Sheets: log every comment
WebRun opens Google Sheets to log every comment.
    • Add one row per open comment with the document, artboard, reviewer, the comment text and its age in days
    • Mark comments that have been waiting longer than your agreed turnaround
    • Keep resolved comments in the sheet with a closed date so the history of each round survives

Done when The sheet holds every open comment with its age and every closed one with its date.

  4. 3
Trello - raise a card per document
    trello.com
WebRun in Trello: raise a card per document
WebRun opens Trello to raise a card per document.
    • Open or update one card per document on your design board
    • List the open comments on the card, oldest first, with the reviewer and artboard against each
    • Attach the drafted replies so the designer can approve or edit before anything is posted back
    • Move a card to Done when the document has no unresolved comments left

Done when Each document with open feedback has one card carrying its comments and drafted replies.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it reply to reviewers on its own?

No. Replies are drafted and attached to the Trello card, never posted back to the review. The designer approves or edits each one before a reviewer sees anything.

Does it change the artwork?

No. WebRun reads comments and versions only. It never edits an artboard, saves over a cloud document or resolves a comment thread on your behalf.

How do I know what is overdue?

Every comment carries its age in days, and anything past the turnaround you set is marked in the sheet and sorted to the top of its Trello card.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
