Automated Wave.video Project Status Reconciliation

Every morning, WebRun checks Airtable for open Wave.video project requests, looks up each one's export status in Wave.video, flags anything undelivered past its due date, and emails an internal status note to the requester's manager.

In short

How do I track whether Wave.video project requests are delivered on time?

WebRun checks your open Wave.video project requests every morning, comparing what's due in Airtable against what's actually been exported. Anything overdue gets an internal status email to the requester's manager, so a stalled video project surfaces the same day instead of at a status meeting a week later.

  • Overdue video requests get caught the same morning
  • Every request's status stays accurate in Airtable
  • Managers hear about delays before a status meeting

Questions, answered

Does it export or finish the video itself?

No. WebRun only checks status and reports it. Finishing and exporting the video is still done by the editor in Wave.video.

Who receives the status email?

Only the requester's own manager, an internal recipient. It's never sent to a client or anyone outside your team.

What counts as overdue?

Any request past its due date in Airtable with no matching export found in Wave.video.
