In short

How do I reconcile daily Viva Wallet transactions against my orders?

WebRun exports today's Viva Wallet settled and failed transactions every night, matches settled payments to orders, and posts totals for matched, failed, and unmatched transactions to Slack. Failed transactions also get a separate Telegram alert with the amount and reason, so nothing that needs a retry sits buried in a routine summary.

  • Failed transactions are escalated the same night, not at month end
  • Every transaction ends the day matched, failed, or clearly unmatched
  • Finance opens Slack to totals instead of raw export rows

Questions, answered

Why do failed transactions get their own Telegram alert?

So they don't get lost inside a longer Slack summary. Anything that failed goes straight to Telegram with the amount and reason, separate from the routine totals.

Will WebRun retry a failed payment or issue a refund?

No. WebRun only reconciles and reports on transactions it finds in Viva Wallet. It never retries a payment, issues a refund, or moves money. Any retry or refund is left for a human to action.

What counts as unmatched?

A settled payment that WebRun could not match to an order by reference, amount, and time. It stays in the Slack summary so finance can chase down the missing order.
