In short

How do I track and resolve Extensiv cycle count variances automatically?

Every morning, WebRun reviews the previous day's cycle count results in Extensiv, extracts every SKU with a quantity variance, and logs each one to a Google Sheets worklist with client, location, and priority flags. A Slack summary alerts your inventory team so variances are investigated before they appear in client billing.

  • Every cycle count variance tracked in a running Google Sheets log
  • High-priority variances flagged before they affect client billing
  • Recurring discrepancies visible across days so root causes can be fixed

Questions, answered

Will it adjust Extensiv inventory to match the counted quantities?

No. Inventory adjustments require human review since they affect client billing records. WebRun logs the variance and alerts your team so the right person investigates and approves any correction.

How is a high-priority variance defined?

By default, any variance of 10 or more units per SKU is flagged as high priority in the sheet. You can set your own threshold during setup to match your inventory accuracy standards.

What if the same SKU has variances on multiple days?

Each cycle count result is logged as a separate row with its date, so you can see whether a SKU has a recurring variance pattern. Repeated discrepancies on the same SKU are a signal to investigate the location or process.
