Automated Extensiv Backorder Watchlist

Questions, answered
Will it notify clients about their backordered orders automatically?
No. Client-facing updates are not sent automatically. The backorder watchlist and Slack alert are internal tools for your account management team to use when deciding whether and how to contact each client.
How does it know when a backordered order is resolved?
It checks Extensiv each morning and if an order is no longer in backorder status, the corresponding row in Google Sheets is marked resolved with a date. Orders released overnight are captured in the next morning's run.
What if there are hundreds of backordered orders across many clients?
The Google Sheets watchlist handles any volume. The Slack message summarizes the total and flags critical holds so account managers know which clients need attention first without reading every row.
