Automated Todoist Overdue Task Chasing

Every morning, WebRun opens Todoist, collects every task past its due date across your shared projects, records each task with its owner and days overdue in Airtable so repeat offenders become visible, and posts the team channel a short chase list in Microsoft Teams ranked by how long each task has slipped.

In short

How do I keep track of overdue tasks across my Todoist projects?

WebRun opens Todoist every morning, collects every task past its due date across your shared projects, and logs each one with its owner and days overdue into Airtable. It then posts a ranked chase list to your Microsoft Teams channel so the longest-slipping work gets picked up first.

  • Overdue work is visible every morning instead of at the retro
  • Tasks rescheduled more than twice get called out by name
  • Airtable builds a record of which work keeps slipping

Built for project managers · small teams · agency operations · startup founders

What does WebRun do on every run?

Questions, answered

Will it change or reschedule my tasks?

No. WebRun only reads Todoist. It never completes a task, moves a due date, reassigns work, or deletes anything. The chase list is a report, not an edit.

Does it message people individually?

No. The chase list goes to one internal Microsoft Teams channel. WebRun never sends a direct message or an email to a task owner on its own.

How does it spot repeat slippage?

Airtable keeps a row per task with a slip count that grows each day the task is still overdue, so a task pushed back week after week is visible instead of invisible.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
