Automated Toast Guest Feedback Routing
Every morning, WebRun reviews Toast's guest feedback for low-rated responses from the prior day, compiles the details of each negative rating, drafts a summary for the manager, and posts it to Slack so every unhappy guest gets a timely, personal follow-up.
How do I automatically route negative Toast POS guest reviews to my manager?
WebRun checks Toast guest feedback every morning, finds all ratings of 3 stars or below from the prior day, and posts a Slack alert to the manager for each one with the guest name, rating, comment, server, and order details. No negative review sits unread, and no reply is ever sent to a guest without a human approving it.
- Every negative guest review is routed to a manager before the next service
- No reply is ever sent to a guest without human review and approval
- Routing rules configurable by complaint type and manager role
Built for restaurant managers · restaurant owners · hospitality groups · multi-location operators

Questions, answered
Will WebRun reply to guests on my behalf?
No. WebRun never contacts a guest directly. It only routes the feedback to your manager in Slack. All guest replies are written and sent by a human.
What star rating counts as negative?
The default threshold is 3 stars or below, matching Toast's own low-rating flag. You can adjust this threshold during setup.
Can it route different types of feedback to different managers?
Yes. You can configure routing rules during setup, for example, food-quality complaints to the kitchen manager and service complaints to the floor manager.
