Automated TigerConnect On-Call Coverage Check

Every night, WebRun opens TigerConnect, reads tomorrow's on-call schedule role by role, lists any shift with nobody assigned, posts the gap list to your Microsoft Teams operations channel, and sends the same list to the coordinator group on WhatsApp.

In short

How do I check whether tomorrow's on-call roles are covered?

WebRun opens TigerConnect every night and reads tomorrow's on-call schedule role by role, listing every shift with nobody assigned. It posts the gaps to your Microsoft Teams operations channel and sends the same list to coordinators on WhatsApp, so an unfilled role is covered before a message has nowhere to land.

  • Unfilled roles are caught the night before, not at handover
  • Coordinators see role, shift time and hours uncovered on their phone
  • A fully covered day is confirmed explicitly, so silence is never guesswork

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens tigerconnect.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
    TigerConnect - read tomorrow's on-call schedule
    tigerconnect.com
WebRun in TigerConnect: read tomorrow's on-call schedule
WebRun opens TigerConnect to read tomorrow's on-call schedule.
    • Open TigerConnect and go to the roles and on-call schedule for tomorrow
    • Read each role's shifts and the user assigned to each one
    • Flag every shift with nobody assigned, and note roles handed to a group rather than a named person

Done when Tomorrow's schedule is checked and every unfilled shift is listed.

  3. 2
Microsoft Teams - post the coverage gaps
    microsoft.com
WebRun in Microsoft Teams: post the coverage gaps
WebRun opens Microsoft Teams to post the coverage gaps.
    • Post the coverage gaps to your operations channel, earliest shift first
    • Show the role, the shift times and whether any part of the day is covered
    • Confirm in the post when every role for tomorrow is filled, so silence is never ambiguous

Done when Tomorrow's coverage status is posted in Teams.

  4. 3
WhatsApp - send the gap list to coordinators
    whatsapp.com
WebRun in WhatsApp: send the gap list to coordinators
WebRun opens WhatsApp to send the gap list to coordinators.
    • Send the same gap list to your internal coordinator group
    • Keep it to role, shift time and hours uncovered so it reads on a phone
    • Message coordinators only. WebRun never contacts a clinician to ask them to cover

Done when Coordinators have tonight's gap list on WhatsApp.

Questions, answered

Will it assign someone to an empty shift?

No. WebRun reads the schedule and reports the gaps. Assigning a user to a role or changing a shift stays with your scheduler inside TigerConnect.

Does it message clinicians to ask them to cover?

No. The Teams post and the WhatsApp message go to your internal operations and coordinator groups only. WebRun never contacts a clinician directly.

Does it read patient messages?

No. WebRun opens the roles and on-call schedule only. It reads role names, shift times and assigned users, and never opens a conversation thread.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
