Automated Tattoo Artist Schedule Digest

Every morning, WebRun opens Square Appointments, builds a per-artist roster showing each client, service, and session length for the day, flags scheduling gaps and back-to-back sessions, and posts each artist's digest to Slack so the whole team is prepared before the studio opens.

In short

How do I automatically send each tattoo artist their daily schedule in Slack?

WebRun opens Square Appointments every morning, builds a personalised day-roster for each artist showing their clients, session lengths, and any gaps or tight turnarounds, then posts each digest to Slack before the studio opens. Artists start their shift fully briefed and the studio can spot fillable gaps at a glance.

  • Every artist starts their shift with a clear, personalised schedule in Slack
  • Scheduling gaps are visible each morning so the studio can fill them
  • Back-to-back sessions are flagged before they become a rushed problem

Built for tattoo studios · studio managers · tattoo artists · multi-artist shops

Questions, answered

Does each artist only see their own schedule?

Yes. WebRun posts each artist's digest to their individual Slack DM or a private channel, so they only see their own appointments. A summary for the whole studio goes to the shared team channel.

What counts as a gap worth flagging?

By default, WebRun flags any unbooked window of 30 minutes or more so you can offer those slots to waitlist clients. You can adjust the threshold to match your studio's minimum session length.

What if an artist has no appointments today?

WebRun posts a brief note confirming no appointments are scheduled, so the artist is not left wondering and the studio can decide whether to offer them a walk-in slot or time off.

Put this on autopilot.
