Automated Talkdesk Unactioned Callback Alerts
Every hour, WebRun checks Talkdesk for calls tagged as needing a callback that have gone unactioned past your set window, logs each one to Airtable with the agent it was assigned to, and emails the agent's manager a short nudge so it does not sit forgotten in the queue.
How do I make sure Talkdesk callback tags get actioned?
WebRun checks Talkdesk every hour for calls tagged for a callback that have gone unactioned past your set window, logs each one to Airtable with the assigned agent, and emails that agent's manager a nudge, so a callback promise to a customer never quietly falls through the queue.
- Stale callback tags are caught within the hour they go overdue
- Managers are nudged instead of discovering it in a QA review
- Resolved callbacks drop off the worklist automatically

What does WebRun do on every run?
The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.
-
WebRun signs in and gets to work
Opens
talkdesk.comin a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys. -

- Add a row per stale tag with the agent and how long it has waited
- Mark rows still open after a second check

-
3
Gmail - nudge the agent's manager
WebRun opens Gmail to nudge the agent's manager. - Draft a short nudge email naming the agent and the stale callback
- Send it to the agent's direct manager
- Link to the Airtable row for detail
Done when The manager has been nudged internally about the stale callback.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Does WebRun contact the customer waiting on the callback?
No. It only tracks whether your agent has actioned the tag and nudges their manager internally. The customer is only ever contacted by your agent.
What counts as the callback window?
Whatever time you set as acceptable, for example 4 business hours. Only tags still open past that window get logged and nudged.
What happens once the agent calls back?
The next check sees the callback logged in Talkdesk and the row is marked resolved, so the worklist only ever shows genuinely open callbacks.
