Questions, answered

Why does gift-card liability matter for bookkeeping?

Unredeemed gift cards are a liability on your balance sheet until they are used or expire. Tracking the total weekly means your books reflect the true obligation and your accountant is never surprised at year-end.

What counts as a dormant card?

By default WebRun flags any card with no activity in the last 12 months. You can adjust that threshold at setup to match your state's escheatment rules or your own policy.

Does it post individual card numbers or balances publicly?

No. The Slack digest shows only aggregate totals and counts. No individual card numbers, customer names, or card balances are included in the message.
