Automated StreamElements Overlay Disconnect Alerts
Every hour during a live session, WebRun checks StreamElements for an overlay or alert box that's disconnected, archives a running tip and sub summary to Google Drive, and posts a Slack alert only when something actually goes offline.
How do I know if my StreamElements overlay disconnects during a stream?
WebRun checks StreamElements every hour during a live session for an overlay or alert box that's gone offline, while archiving tips, subs, and loyalty points to a session summary in Google Drive. It posts a Slack alert only when something actually disconnects, so a broken donation alert or missing overlay gets caught mid-stream instead of after viewers notice.
- A broken overlay gets caught mid-stream, not after the fact
- Tip and sub totals are archived automatically every session
- Slack only speaks up when something actually breaks

Questions, answered
Does it reconnect the overlay for me?
No. WebRun only detects and reports the disconnect. Fixing or reloading the overlay is something you do yourself.
Does it post to Slack the whole stream?
No. It only posts when something actually disconnects. A clean stream produces no alert at all.
Where do the tip and sub totals go?
They're archived to a session summary file in Google Drive, updated again with final totals once the stream ends.
