Automated Splitwise Balance Chasing

Every Monday, WebRun opens Splitwise, finds balances that have sat unsettled for more than two weeks, exports the list to Google Sheets with who owes what, and drafts a friendly reminder in Gmail for each person, left unsent for you to review and send yourself.

In short

How do I chase unsettled Splitwise balances automatically?

WebRun checks Splitwise every Monday for balances unsettled longer than two weeks, logs who owes what to Google Sheets, and drafts a friendly reminder in Gmail for each person. Every draft stays unsent until you approve it, and WebRun never moves money itself, so old balances get chased without an awkward manual follow-up.

  • Balances over two weeks old get a ready reminder instead of being forgotten
  • You see every outstanding balance in one sheet instead of hunting the app
  • No reminder goes out to a friend without you reading it first

Built for roommates · travel groups · friend groups splitting bills · shared household expenses

Questions, answered

Will it settle the balance or move money for me?

No. WebRun never sends a payment, issues a refund, or transfers funds on its own. It only tracks who owes what in Splitwise and leaves settling up to you.

Will it email my friends without me?

No. WebRun only drafts each reminder in Gmail and leaves it unsent. You read every message and click send, so nothing reaches a friend without your approval.

What if someone already paid me back?

It reads the live balance in Splitwise each Monday, so anyone who has already settled up is dropped from the list and gets no draft reminder.

Put this on autopilot.
