Does it contact patients about the recall?
No. WebRun only cross-references instruments and trays in Censis and alerts your internal SPD and risk management team. Any patient-level follow-up stays with your risk and quality process, outside this workflow.
What if the recalled instrument was already used in a case?
It is still logged and flagged, with the case noted if Censis has it on record, so your risk management team can review it under your existing recall protocol.
Will it quarantine the tray for me?
No. It flags the match and logs it as Pending Pull. Physically pulling and quarantining the tray is your SPD team's action, confirmed back in the log.
