Automated Snapchat Ad Creative Reviews

Every Monday, WebRun opens Snapchat Ads, compares each active creative's frequency and cost per result against the two weeks before, builds a swap list of the ads that have gone stale, drafts the request for fresh assets in Gmail, and logs the week's review in Notion.

In short

How do I tell which ad creatives have stopped working and need swapping?

WebRun reviews your Snapchat Ads creatives every Monday, comparing each active ad's frequency and cost per result against the previous two weeks. It builds a swap list of the ads showing fatigue, drafts a request for fresh assets in Gmail for you to send, and logs the review in Notion with the numbers behind each call.

  • Tiring creatives are spotted before cost per result climbs another week
  • Ad squads with no fresh asset queued are named early
  • Every swap decision is logged in Notion with the numbers behind it

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens ads.snapchat.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

WebRun opens Snapchat Ads to spot the fatiguing creatives.
    • Open Snapchat Ads and list the active ads inside each ad squad
    • Pull spend, cost per result, and frequency for last week and the two weeks before it
    • Flag creatives whose frequency keeps climbing while cost per result rises week on week
    • Note which ad squads would be left with no fresh creative if those ads were paused
    • Read only. WebRun never pauses an ad, changes a budget, or edits a squad

Done when Every fatiguing creative is listed with its squad, spend, frequency, and cost per result trend.

  3. 2
Gmail - draft the request for fresh assets

    • Draft an email to the creative team or client listing the ads to swap out
    • Include the squad, the format, and the numbers that made the case
    • Name the squads that need new assets first because nothing fresh is queued behind them
    • Leave every email unsent. WebRun never emails a client or a creative partner on its own

Done when A swap request is drafted for each team that owes fresh assets.

  4. 3
Notion - log the weekly creative review
    notion.so
WebRun in Notion: log the weekly creative review
WebRun opens Notion to log the weekly creative review.
    • Add this week's review to your creative performance page in Notion
    • Record each flagged creative with its run length, frequency, and cost per result
    • Keep the running history so you can see how long a creative typically lasts before it tires

Done when This week's creative review is filed in Notion with the numbers behind it.

Questions, answered

Will it pause ads or change my budgets?

No. WebRun reads the account and never pauses an ad, edits a squad, or moves a budget. It hands you a swap list and the numbers behind it, and the media buyer makes the call.

Does it email the client without me?

No. The request for fresh assets sits in Gmail as an unsent draft until you read and send it. Only the internal Notion log is written automatically.

How does it decide a creative is tired?

It compares last week against the two weeks before for the same ad. A creative whose frequency keeps climbing while cost per result rises is flagged, so a bad single week does not trigger a swap.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
