Automated Rosetta Stone Group Progress Reports

Every Monday, WebRun signs in to Rosetta Stone, reads each learner's progress and language of study grouped by the team they belong to, checks licence use across the group, writes a plain report per group into Notion, and texts each manager a short summary through Twilio.

In short

How do I send managers a weekly progress report for their learners?

WebRun reports on your language program every Monday. It reads Rosetta Stone learner progress, language of study, and licence use grouped by team, writes a plain report per group into Notion, and texts each manager a summary of their own group through Twilio, with learners never contacted.

  • Managers get their own group's progress without asking the admin
  • Unused licences surface every week instead of at renewal
  • Learners are never messaged, so the program stays manager led

Built for L&D teams · program administrators · department managers · HR training leads

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.rosettastone.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Rosetta Stone - read learner progress by group
    rosettastone.com
WebRun in Rosetta Stone: read learner progress by group
WebRun opens Rosetta Stone to read learner progress by group.
    • Sign in to Rosetta Stone and open the administration view for your language program
    • Capture every learner with their group, language of study, and progress so far
    • Note time spent since the last report and the date each learner was last active
    • Record licence use per group: assigned, active, and unused
    • Never message a learner or change a licence. WebRun only reads the program data

Done when Every learner is captured with their group, language, progress, and last activity.

  3. 2
Notion - write each group's report
    notion.so
WebRun in Notion: write each group's report
WebRun opens Notion to write each group's report.
    • Create one Notion page per group under your language program parent page
    • Write a plain table of the group's learners with language, progress, and last active date
    • Add a group summary line: how many are on track, how many have slowed, and licence use
    • Keep the wording factual and free of ranking or judgement about individuals

Done when Each group has its own progress page in Notion for this week.

  4. 3
Twilio - text managers their summary
    twilio.com
WebRun in Twilio: text managers their summary
WebRun opens Twilio to text managers their summary.
    • Send each manager a short text through Twilio covering only their own group
    • Include the number of active learners, the number who have slowed, and unused licences
    • Link the group's Notion page for the full table
    • Text managers only. WebRun never messages a learner about their progress

Done when Every manager has their own group's summary and a link to the full report.

Questions, answered

Will it message learners about their progress?

No. The only texts go to managers about their own group, and the Notion pages sit inside your workspace. Learners are never contacted, so nobody gets an automated nudge about their study time.

Does each manager see other groups?

No. Each manager gets a text about their own group and a link to that group's Notion page only, so a department manager sees their own people and nothing from other teams.

What does the report cover?

Each learner's language of study, progress, and last active date, plus a group summary of active learners, learners who have slowed, and licences assigned but unused.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
