Automated QuestionPro Response Pace Alerts

Every morning, WebRun opens QuestionPro, reads yesterday's response count for each live survey, compares it against the pace that survey needs to hit its target date, writes the running numbers into Airtable, and texts you when a survey has clearly stalled.

In short

How do I tell when a QuestionPro survey has stopped collecting responses?

WebRun opens QuestionPro every morning and reads yesterday's response count for each live survey. It compares that against the pace the survey needs to hit its target, logs the running numbers in Airtable, and texts you through Twilio when a survey stalls, so quiet fieldwork surfaces in a day.

  • A stalled survey is caught within a day, not at the deadline
  • Every live survey has a daily response history in Airtable
  • Texts arrive only when fieldwork is genuinely off pace

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens questionpro.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
QuestionPro - check each live survey's pace
    questionpro.com
WebRun in QuestionPro: check each live survey's pace
WebRun opens QuestionPro to check each live survey's pace.
    • Open QuestionPro and list every survey currently open for responses
    • Read the total responses and yesterday's new responses for each
    • Compare the running total against the target and the closing date you set
    • Mark any survey that collected far fewer responses than its recent daily average

Done when Every live survey has yesterday's count and a pace status.

  3. 2
Airtable - log the running response counts
    airtable.com
WebRun in Airtable: log the running response counts
WebRun opens Airtable to log the running response counts.
    • Open your fieldwork base in Airtable
    • Append one row per survey per day with the total, the daily new count, and the days left
    • Update the survey record with its current pace status
    • Keep the history so you can see the trend across the whole field period

Done when Airtable holds today's row for every live survey.

  4. 3
Twilio - text you when a survey stalls
    twilio.com
WebRun in Twilio: text you when a survey stalls
WebRun opens Twilio to text you when a survey stalls.
    • Draft a short text naming the survey, its shortfall, and the days remaining
    • Send it to your own number only when a survey is off pace or has gone quiet
    • Leave any message to a panel partner or client as a draft for you to approve
    • Send nothing on days when every survey is on track

Done when You are texted only about surveys that are genuinely behind.

Questions, answered

Will it close or pause a survey on its own?

No. WebRun only reads your QuestionPro surveys. It never closes a survey, changes a quota, or edits a question. Every decision about fieldwork stays with you.

Does it text respondents or panel partners?

No. The Twilio text goes to your own number. Any message intended for a panel partner or a client is drafted and left for you to approve before anything sends.

What counts as stalled?

A survey collecting well under its own recent daily average, or one whose remaining days will not cover the responses still needed. You set the tolerance during setup.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
